Settling back into Central Time included an email from the Public Affairs director at a local university who’s buying a copy of “Anatomy of a Trial” and would like to get together to discuss it and my job with the court.
And some folks in Los Angeles want a return visit. “I could have listened for three more hours,” a woman said after one of my presentations there. So I’ll probably be heading back out that way after a presentation in Minneapolis in early August. Why then? That will coincide with a conference for children’s book authors I’d like to attend. (Yes, writing for children. Quite a departure from writing about a trial of the century and how to keep history repeating itself, wouldn’t you say?)
Of course, a great benefit — actually, ulterior motive — will be seeing son Chapen who is an editor at film and TV production company, 51 Minds.
