More than the report itself, members of the media wanted to see — and possibly publish the photographs, which were, indeed, gruesome.
Guilty or not so.
Billboards bloom all over town.

These giant signs were split in half — one half black with the word “guilty” spelled out in white. The other half white with the word “innocent” in black. One was within the view of the hotel the jurors were sequestered in.
